Summerside’s New Hotel Set to Open in 2023

Summerside’s first new hotel to open in 30 years will be a big plus for the city for tourism.   The Microtel Inn and Suites is the new hotel by Credit Union Place is nearly complete. It has 83 rooms and is next door to the city’s sports and entertainment centre. Both the venue and hotel should benefit by its location. The final  work is being done before its opening in the New Year. Cory Snow, Summerside’s deputy mayor, is general manager of the new hotel.  Overnight capacity is expected to be high with the number of concerts and sports events held in the city and it will be as boost for the local economy.
