The Salvation Army is once again distributing school supplies to children across the Maritimes. On average, parents spend over $100 on back-to-school provisions per child. This includes backpacks, clothing, school supplies and more. For many families this is simply not feasible, and some children are left with no choice but to go without. As part of The Salvation Army’s national back-to-school campaign, The Salvation Army Ministry located in Charlottetown will be collecting and distributing school supplies for high school students, as well as backpacks for all ages. You can drop off school supplies at 158 Fitzroy Street, Charlottetown. Donations will be accepted until August 24th.
