Northumberland Ferries moves to four-trip daily schedule

Northumberland Ferries is moving to a four-trip daily schedule indefinitely, effective Wednesday as it waits for repairs to be completed on the damaged MV Confederation.  The Confederation was damaged Sunday when a mechanical issue caused it to collide with the wharf in Wood Islands.  How long the repairs will take is unclear.  In the meantime, the schedule now in place with the MV Saaremaa 1 will see sailings go from Wood Islands at 7:00am, 10:00am, 3:00pm, and 6:00pm.  Sailings from Caribou are at 8:30am, 11:45am, 4:30pm and 7:30pm.
