PEI’s 43rd Lieutenant Governor installed in ceremony Thursday

PEI’s 43rd Lieutenant Governor has been installed in a ceremony Thursday morning at Memorial Hall in the Confederation Centre of the Arts.  Dr. Wassim Salamoun’s appointment as Lieutenant Governor was in August.  Dr. Salamoun has had a 28 year career as an otolaryngologist and also served in leadership roles as medical director of P.E.I. West and Prince County Hospital.  Prior to the installation ceremony of Dr. Salamoun as the 43rd Lieutenant Governor, an honour guard salute was held on Queen Street.
