Concerned residents organize community meeting to discuss Park Street Site in Charlottetown

Residents in Charlottetown’s Park Street area have organized a meeting, and are inviting residents and other community members to come and share their stories and thoughts on the Park Street Site and Eastern Gateway area. The meeting will take place Wednesday, November 27th at 6.30 pm at the Eastlink Centre. The Province has indicated it’s seeking an extension to the zoning variance allowing the outreach centre to operate at Park Street.  It’s set to expire in March, while the variance for the emergency shelter is set to expire next month.    All residents, business owners, students, parents, renters, landowners, and other community members are being encouraged to attend the meeting.
