The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a decrease in gas prices on the Island overnight. The price of regular gasoline decreased by 2.5 cents per litre while the price of furnace oil did not change, and there was no change in the price of diesel. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 160.3 to 161.5 cents per litre. Diesel costs between 180.7 and 181.8 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 122.3 cents per litre. Propane prices increased by between 1.5 and 2.4 cents per litre, and now range from 85.2 to 86.4 cents per litre.
