Justin Trudeau’s path to stay on as prime minister appears to be narrowing. His inner circle has begun laying out his options after Chrystia Freeland’s bombshell resignation earlier this week heightened calls for him to step down. One of the options he’s been presented is proroguing Parliament to allow a Liberal leadership race to happen. Still, Trudeau has a few weeks to decide on his next move before M-Ps return to the House of Commons on January 27th after their holiday break.
