Owner of 24Strong

Lacey Koughan’s journey is a testament to the power of resilience and the impact of following one’s passion. She felt that there was a disconnect in her generation and that youth need to stand together to have important conversations and harbour a healthy self-image. At only 17 years old she was determined to make a difference, so Lacey founded 24STRONG, an empowerment program for young women. She envisioned a space where girls could build confidence, embrace their uniqueness, and find strength in each other. The program blossomed, offering workshops and a supportive community nation-wide.
As time passed, Lacy found a way to bring her second passion in life – dance. She intertwined it into her mission, transforming 24STRONG into a vibrant dance studio, offering both recreational and competitive classes in a variety of styles. The studio became a sanctuary for many, growing from 30 to 300+ students, and employing a dedicated team.
A vital part to remember is that her journey isn’t just about dance; it is about resilience, growth, and empowerment. She faced challenges head-on, turning them into opportunities to uplift others. Lacey is a mental health advocate who draws from her personal experiences to inspire and support others. Her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive environment has made her a role model for many young individuals seeking guidance and empowerment. Her story is a testament to the power of following one’s passion and the profound impact of nurturing the next generation.
Today, Lacey continues to inspire, leading 24STRONG with unwavering dedication, and reminding us all of the strength found in community and self-belief.
