Gas prices increased on Friday in PEI, while diesel and furnace oil prices went down. IRAC approved a 5.0 cents per litre increase in gasoline prices. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 166.9 to 168.0 cents per litre. Diesel prices decreased by 5.0 cents per litre and the price of furnace oil decreased by 4.0 cents per litre. So, diesel now costs you from 194.6 to 195.7 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 136.6 cents per litre. Propane price adjustments ranged from a decrease of 2.0 cents per litre to an increase of 0.3 cents per litre.
